Porsche997targa If you’re like me, don’t like the current 911 Targa and regret the old design, you will likely be glad to hear that a company has developed its own Targa version.

A long time ago, Porsche offered a targa variant of the 911 but disappeared ten years ago to be replaced a large sunroof. However, many Porsche enthusiasts miss the removable glass panel. A company called VeloTech has developed a classic hardtop that can be fitted on a Porsche 911 convertible.

The roof is  comprised mainly of carbon fiber and costs £5,000 in the US. The company says that the price can be reduced to £3,000.

Nice, really. Pitty that it is based on the cabriolet and will have small back seats.
