Bugatti has announced it will increase its production to 90 vehicles this year instead of the 85 initially planned.

In an interview with Emirates Business 24/7, Bugatti spokesman Julius Kruta had confirmed Bugatti will build another car, more expensive and better than the supercar Veyron. Since then, the company might have changed its mind.

Bugatti will unveil a new limited edition Veyron at the Geneva Motor Show. The company will collaborate with the fashion Hermès brand to create the new unique vehicle. Both companies worked together in the 1920’s.

Here is a video of the Bugatti Veryron's engine, one of the most sophisticated engine currently in production being built on the small production line. Volkswagen engineers used all their expertise in building a unique engine. While common car makers use V10 or V12, they chose the option of a W16 boosted by four turbochargers.

Bugatti is expected to launch the Veyron targa model at the beginning of 2008, enabling the supercar to become the fastest roofless car in the world. However, despite a price tag estimated at more than £900,000, all eighty cars already have buyers according to Pistonheads.

After a difficult start, Bugatti is in great shape. It recently announced it will increase the annual production of its Veyron hypercar from the current 60 units per year to 75. If the rumours are to be believed, this revelation may lead to the production of an open-top version of the Veyron.
